Renting a Unit with Hansen Storage FAQs
How does the rental process work?
Don't worry, it's quick and easy and we'll work with you however you feel most comfortable- whether it's face to face or completely digital. Just a few basic steps and you'll be moving in in no time!
Fill out rental information in the "Rent Storage" section online. Follow the steps to choose your unit and make the first month's payment plus a small security deposit (deposits vary from $15-$30 depending on unit size).
E-mail or text a snapshot or scan of your Driver's License/government issued ID to us within 3 days of securing your rental. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org Text: 435-258-9697
Grab your own lock or purchase one from us ($15 heavy duty disc padlock- we recommend this type of padlock), and head out to your unit at 1115 W 200 N and start moving in!
I want to rent with Hansen, but would like to do so face-to-face; how do I go about doing this?
Just call us at 435-752-9136 or 435-258-9697 with a time that is best for you and one of our Hansen team members will meet you at our site with a rental contract and everything in the above mentioned 3 step rental process will be taken care of in person.
Can I rent a unit over the phone?
Yes! Give us a call and we will take your information down and first month's payment plus security deposit over the phone. We can mail or email your copy of the lease agreement to be signed and returned with a photocopy or snapshot of your driver's license/government issued ID.
How do I make payments on my storage unit?
Payments can be made any of the following ways:
1. Online by logging in to your account. You can always setup recurring payments by ACH withdrawal or credit/debit card payments withdrawn on the due date.
2. Secure Drop Box check payment- located at 94 S Main in Logan just inside the JB Accounting & Tax office. Enter from Main Street and the drop box is immediately on your right below the counter. Please note on check or envelope for which unit you're paying and the date.
3. Mailed check payment- send to PO Box 6488, North Logan, UT 84341
4. Phone payment- call us to pay with a card over the phone or to set up recurring payments by card or ACH withdrawal. 435-752-9136, 435-258-9697
I want to use the Drop Box payment option but would still like to get a receipt, how do I get one?
When your payment is picked up we enter it into our system and automatically email a payment receipt. If you'd like a hard copy mailed to you, we are happy to do so if you'll just include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment.
I can't make my payment by the due date, will I get a late fee and how much will it be?
We understand that sometimes a little extra time is needed to make a payment. We allow a few days leeway before assessing a late fee of 25% of monthly rental amount. Notifications are sent by text and email (depending on your profile preferences) to help you remember when payments are due and when a late fee is soon to be assessed.
